Great DTS 5.1 Sound (There are different version DVDs)
| Since there are plenty of reviews on the theme, I will discuss the transfer to DVD - Excellent. The picture and DTS (version) 5.1 sound is done very well. I am able to force my rear speakers on and my Yamaha 1400 amp decoder provides exceptional 6.1 sound. There is great .1 low bass from the sub-woofer too. There is not jam packed Die Hard action, but the sounds of a helicopter and breaking glass are fantastic. The picture on a 50 inch widescreen looks great.
OK, the movie may be a little far fetched, but it is only a movie - Relax, enjoy, and kick up the volume. I picked this movie up at a bargain price and recommend the purchase of the DTS version.
VERY GOOD MOVIE! | ||||||
| I can't believe how many bad reviews this movie got.
It goes to show you how many brain dead people there are in the world. This movie will grab your attention from the very beginning. The kid who plays Simon, is a great little actor! He was in Pet Cemetary 9 years earlier. Don't listen to the bad reviews, this is great!
It grabbed me from the beginning...
| Although in my opinion, the role of Baldwin is a waste of time and possibly money, but the idea is interesting, and the growing bond between Willis and the boy gets you close to the screen. If you are OK with Bruce Willis acting skills, you have to see this one. | ||||||
